2011 MHF January Dressage Show

RSA Czekaza

I had been looking forward to this show for quite a while since it was going to be Czekazas first outing on the show circuit. Czekaza is a young arabian mare with lots of charisma but also a lot of nerves so I was unsure how she would cope with the show atmosphere, but she took my by surprise! Initially she was a bit high strung, prancing around and showing off but after a bit of a warm up she got it together and we did ok! Three fifth placings, one 4th and a 3rd at best. Looking forward to seeing what this gorgeous gal can do when she is a bit more experienced!

New Addtion: Roman Holiday

Everyone in Northumberland knows that when it comes to new horses in the Humane Society you have to act fast! I didn't have to look twice at this handsome thoroughbred stallion to know that I had to have him. I had seen him before on the eventing circuit and admired his boldness and fierce winning instinct, so there was no surprise that he went in trailer home with me. Roman Holiday (Roman Ruler x Halo America) is a real sweetheart and seems to be adjusting well to the move to Winchester. Can't wait to try him out on the cross country course!
